A question I recently asked myself and would of been an amazing take on my cannibalism project when I was at uni. It’s possibly more subtainable than cows, produces less methane, takes less space, just as easy to breed, would reduce surpopulation and would have same nutritional values or even better maybe…..
logics are flawed arn’t they… *happily eats carrot*

Neal Barnard MD discusses the science behind food additions. Willpower is not to blame: chocolate, cheese, meat, and sugar release opiate-like substances. Dr. Barnard also discusses how industry, aided by government, exploits these natural cravings, pushing us to eat more and more unhealthy foods. A plant-based diet is the solution to avoid many of these problems. Neal Barnard is the founder of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM).
This is Dr. Barnard’s COMPLETE presentation from the VegSource HEALTHY LIFESTYLE EXPO 2003. To get a copy of this talk on DVD and many others, visit the VegSource store, see https://secure2.vegsource.com/catalog/

These mesmerizing sculptures are the work of William Ricketts, a rare Australian born in 1898 who was in awe of the connection the Aborigine people have with the land. Hidden deep within a lush Australian rainforest are a set of mystical Aborigine sculptures seemingly merged into the natural surroundings. Moss covered torsos of men, women and children protrude from tree trunks and boulders. Some reach heavenward with widespread wings, others envelop each other protectively – all are symbols of the relationship the indigenous Australian Aborigines have with nature.

Animal rights protester agrees to be tortured
A YOUNG woman agreed to be tortured in full public view to try and end animal testing.
Jacqueline Traide, 24, was dragged, tied prodded, force fed and subjected to all manner of cruelty in front of hundreds of shoppers, Mail Online reports.
Jaqueline endured ten hours of injections, being smothered in different lotions, having her hair shaved and irritants being squirted into her eyes as part of a world-wide campaign by Lush and The Humane Society International.
The stunt took place in a Lush store window on London’s Regent Street, one of the UK’s busiest shopping precincts.
Passers-by were stunned by the display, with many stopping to take photos and record the gruesome spectacle with their phones.
The Humane Society says animals are routinely tested in this manner for make-up and perfumes.
This person is brave and amazing.
